I am originally from Virginia Beach VA.   I retired from the US Air Force in 2011.  My journey into photography started many decades ago. While I was at a family reunion, my Dad did not feel like taking any pictures although he had his camera with him. I asked if I could take photos with his camera and he said sure. During the event, I clicked away, taking photos of my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. One photo I captured was of my Dad while pitching during a softball game. I lucked out and froze the ball just as it was leaving his hand. I thought it was incredible that I was able to freeze that moment in time. I experimented and learned by trial and error on what each one of the settings on the camera were for.  Over time I have developed and honed my photography skills. Here it is many years later and I still am able to remember that photograph without even having it front of me. This is what I want to pass along to those who choose to use my services. I want to give them the same experience that I felt when I first saw that photograph of my father pitching during that softball game.
